My name is Eryn McAlister. I have been with Willott Road
Christian Academy for 2 years. My first year I worked as the
director of our Aftercare program. During that time I also
substitute taught in the Early Childhood Department. Every
time I substitute taught, my desire to become a teacher
would grow. I started praying about what this desire meant
and asked God to lead me an d open doors to the opportunity
to teach. At the end of the 2008/2009 school year, I was
given a contract to teach Pre-Kindergarten for the 2009/2010
school year. I know this was God telling me this is what He
wanted me to do.
The Bible tells us in Psalm 37:4 “Delight yourself in the
Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.”
I am so thankful to God for all He is and for all He does.
Not only did God give me an amazing job, but He also gave me
an amazing family. My husband Josh and I were married
in may of 2002. Our son Noah was born in April of 2004
and our daughter Ana was born in March of 2006 and our other
daughter Brooklyn was born in February of 2008.

Hello, my name is Sherry Jones. I am a
married mother of two grown children and a Nana of two
wonderful grandchildren. I also have a Cock-a-Poo name
Gracie.
My teaching career started upon graduating from
William-Jewell College with a Bachelor of Science in Music
Education. I was first employed by the Granite City
Schools to pilot a music program for the Special Education
Department. Several years later I left teaching to be
a homemaker.
When my youngest child was in Fourth grade, I felt
God was calling me back into teaching. God opened the
opportunity to teach and direct an academic preschool,
Friends Forever. When the church that housed the preschool
dissolved in 1995, God provided Friends Forever a new
location that had a vision for a Christian school.
Form that point on Friends Forever preschool became a part
of the Early Childhood program Department at Willott Road
Christian Academy.
I have had the privilege to teach Preschool Three
and Four year old children, as well as Secondary grade
levels Kindergarten thru Second grade. Currently I am
enjoying teaching Pre-Kindergarten.
“As each one has received a special gift, employ it
in serving one another, as good stewards of the manifold
grace of God.” I Peters 4: 10

I was born and raised in St. Charles, where I also attended Lindenwood University.
My professional background is mostly in sales and recruiting, however I have been teaching
religious education classes to middle school aged children for several years. I am married
to the love of my life Andy and I have an amazing little girl Breckyn, who loves attending WRCA.
The positive experience that we have had at Willott is actually what led me to pursue a
teaching opportunity here at the school. Our family spends most of our free time running to
Breckyn's sports games, enjoying time with family, and at various church activities. I feel truly
blessed to be able to help lead the children in my class on their journey and to be a part of
such a wonderful school. I am looking forward to a great school year!

I attended College in Greenville, Illinois and graduated
with a Bachelor of Science degree in the field of Elementary
Education. I am fortunate to have had experience
working in lower and upper elementary grades in a public
school district and two other private Christian school sin
Illinois.
My husband and I were married in May of 2008 and that
brought me over the Mississippi. I have counted it a
privilege to teach first grade at WRCA for two years now.
It is amazing to see how God has directed my path all along.
Since I was a child playing “school” with my own small
chalkboard, I had a desire to teach. During my school years,
I had a number of inspiring and encouraging teachers that
spurred me on to study elementary education in college.
I want to continually grow and teach with excellence.
In the future, I plan to pursue a masters degree in the
education field.

|
I received my Bachelors Degree from Lindenwood University
in 2008. I was lucky enough to complete my student
teaching in second grade right here at WRCA and I have never
left. I have been teaching for two years and plan to
get my Master’s Degree in the near future.
Although I had no plans on teaching in a Christian
School, it is oblivious God had a plan for me. He
called me to work His will in this wonderful school!

I grew up in Oklahoma where I earned my degree and met my
husband, Robby. I received a BA in Early Childhood

My first teaching job was in Kansas City, MO in an inner
city charter school. I have taught third grade for 3
years and have grown so much! I really enjoy the
atmosphere at WRCA. My husband and I have 3 children;
a son, Riley and twin girls, Olivia and Sophia. St.
Peters has been a great place to raise our family!

I grew up in Springfield, MO where I attended a small
Christian school very similar to WRCA. I decided to
move to St. Charles to attend Lindenwood University, where I
received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education.
After college, I received my first teaching job at WRCA in a
first grade classroom. This is now my fourth year of

I would like to take a moment to share a little about
myself. I was blessed by being raised in a Christian home. I
accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior when I was eight years
old, and my desire ever since has been to please Him. I have
been married to my wonderful husband, Joe, for nine years. I
have an adorable baby boy named Caleb that my husband and I
adopted in December 2009.
I graduated from Missouri Baptist University with a
bachelors of science in elementary education. I am currently
pursuing a master’s degree from Missouri Baptist as well.
The Lord brought me to Willott Road Christian Academy in
2006. I have participated in teacher training at a
conference held at Pensacola Christian academy (a wonderful
school that has incredible insight regarding the
presentation of ABeka Curriculum) during two different
summers during my time here at WRCA. I am confident and
excited about teaching your child on an academic and
spiritual level this year.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share in the
lives of your children.

I have a Master’s Degree in School Administration from
Missouri Baptist University, which I received in 2009.
In 2007 I received my Bachelors in Science in Mathematics
and Middle School Education from Missouri Baptist University
with certification for grades 5 – 12.
My past experience includes student teaching in the
Rockwood and Troy school districts. I wanted to
experience a high technology environment where I learned to
use a Smart Board and a low technology environment where
creativity was the name of the game. Also, I have
experience with private tutoring for high school and college
students.
I am a native of Missouri. I have a heart for
children who have come from difficult backgrounds and I have
a passion for teaching math to students in tailored ways in
order for them to grasp the concepts. My ultimate goal
will always be to inspire students to reach their full
potential.

Mrs. Jackie Joyce is our
School Counselor and teaches Middle/High school Language
Arts
I received my Secondary English Education degree from
Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, MO in
2004. I completed my Master of Arts in School
Counseling at Missouri Baptist University in 2009. I
began teaching in 2004 at Warrenton High School and then
spent my last four years teaching at Hazelwood East High
School. I never would have imagined I would be working
in a small private Christian school, but God does work in
mysterious ways. After having resigned from my last
teaching position, I found myself jobless. God opened
a door for me here at WRCA to use both of my degrees.
I am now completing my 6th year in education as a
Middle/High school English teacher and as the Kind. – 10th
grade School Counselor.
I am getting married this June to my best friend. We don’t plan to have children
right away, but have begun our family by adding a puppy to
our lives. He is already more trying than most
children.

|
Upon graduating from Fort Zumwalt High school in 2005, I
received the Missouri Bright Flight scholarship and attended
Lindenwood University on a full-ride academic scholarship.

middle school math education and elementary education.
I hope to continue my education in the future by pursuing my
Masters in Library Science.
In 2008 I married my husband Rob and we look forward to
starting a family in the future.
I have enjoyed spending my first year teaching
middle/high school science and library at WRCA and am so
blessed that God has led me in this direction. I have
discovered a passion for Christian school education and look
forward to years spent here.

K-Life youth ministries in Columbia, MO and Harrison,
Arkansas until the Spring of 2007. I felt called to St.

My name is Jessica Chandler and I am grateful to Father
God for bringing me into the Willott Road Family. I am a
graduate of Lindenwood University in St. Charles,
Missouri, where I earned a degree in Elementary Education
and a minor in Christian Ministry Studies. I was a captain
on the Field Hockey team at Lindenwood this year, and I also
currently coach a variety of sports, including soccer, field
hockey, lacrosse and softball. The Lord has blessed me with
many athletic talents and abilities, which I plan to use to
expand His Kingdom! I completed my student teaching at
Messiah Lutheran School in Weldon Spring, Missouri where I
taught both third and fifth grades regularly, as well as
fourth and fifth grade Spanish classes. Although I am
saddened to leave Messiah, I truly am eager to take up my
cross and follow Jesus as I begin my journey at WRCA.
I married my husband Drew on July 17, 2010. We will be moving into a new home
within the St. Peters area before the start of the school
year at Willott Road. Together we enjoy reading God's Word,
spending time with our families, playing sports and watching
the Cardinals games!
I am excited to be a part of the Willott Road Christian
Academy family, and am eager to begin bringing a joy of
learning the Spanish language to all of my students! I look
forward to sharing the many blessings that God has in store
for me this year! "As for me, to live is Christ and to die
is gain." Philippians 1:21

Pastor Tony Latham is
our P.E. teacher for all grade levels
In May of 1996, I received my Bachelors I Biblical
Studies degree from East Coast Bible College in Charlotte,
NC. While in college there, my wife and I began
working at the Church of God Children’s Home of NC.
My wife Shawna & I have been married for 17 years and
have been blessed with 3 beautiful girls. After years
of youth ministry, in 2001, my wife and I planted the New
Vision Church and Community Center in O’Fallon, MO.
We enrolled our girls in school here at WRCA when they
were little and we do not believe we could have made a
better choice. From there, I began coaching the middle
school girls basketball team in 2007 and then started
filling in as a substitute teacher for many different
classes.
Education, family development, and youth recreation are areas that
we have always had a passion for and thank the Lord for the
opportunities He has given us to influence the lives of
young people and families. I am very excited to see God
continue to grow the ministry here at WRCA.

God led me in 2008 to WRCA where I have a wonderful position
teaching Art. I am beginning my third year of
teaching.

Born into a family of 8, I was homeschooled and needed
extra curricular activities. I started taking piano
lessons at the age of 9 and my piano lessons led me to my
decision to become a music teacher. I received my
Bachelor of Music education from Missouri Baptist University
in 2008. I graduated with a major in Piano and minors in
Psychology and Church music. I am beginning my third
year of teaching and all have been at WRCA. In the
next year I plan on returning to school to work on my
Master’s of Arts in Music History/Theory.
